Education:
BS degree from UTC in mathematics (Go Mocs)
MED degree from West Georgia University
EDS degree from West Georgia University
EDD degree from the University of Georgia (Go DAWGS)
Experience:
I have been in education all of my professional life and have served as teacher, assistant principal, principal, and school social worker. I officiated HS football as well as HS and college soccer.
Personal:
My family has always lived in East Ridge, and two of my three children attended ERHS. We are members of Good Shepherd Luthern Church on Belvoir Ave.
Since our children are grown, my wife and I enjoy travel and spend a lot of our vacation time pursuing this interest. We belong to the YMCA and enjoy walking, biking, and hiking.
