Biography:
I have been teaching science at East Ridge since 2003. Before teaching, I worked as a paramedic for 12 years. I have three undergraduate degrees (two from the University of Georgia and one from UTC): B.S in biology, ABJ in newspaper journalism and a BSeD in education. I just recently completed my Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction. I live on a farm in north Georgia with my husband and daughter, where we enjoy spending time with our dogs, cats, and horses. I enjoy coaching my daughter's soccer and swim teams, and I swim three days each week with a Master's swim team at Baylor School.
