Biography:
I have been teaching science at East Ridge since 2003. Before teaching, I worked as a paramedic for 12 years and as a newspaper photographer for five years. I have three undergraduate degrees (two from the University of Georgia and one from UTC): B.S in biology, ABJ in newspaper journalism and a BSeD in education. In 2007, I completed my Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction. I live on a farm in North Georgia with my husband, daughter, dogs, cats, and horses. My family enjoys camping and soccer, and my daugther and I both swim at Baylor. My latest interest is the early space program, and I read everything I can find that is related to this period in America's history.
