Create an advertising campaign to promote your trip. In your campaign:

Individual Task

Persuasive Letter on the Importance of Photosynthesis

  1. At the conclusion of the tour, your group will leave your important tourists with some final thoughts about plants and photosynthesis. What you tell them may have a huge impact on political decisions, regulations, conservation, and public opinion.  
  2. Write a persuasive essay on one of the topics listed below. Be sure to cite your references (especially quotes and statistics)! Include as much relevant information about photosynthesis as possible in your essay

    • Mass destruction of plants and trees due to development should be stopped because it reduces photosynthetic benefits and is harmful to the ecosystem.
    • The need for progress and development is important enough to society to justify clear-cutting of forests and reduction of benefits from plants and photosynthesis.
