Cadet Battalion Staff

Special Teams

The Team Captians: E. Martinez (Color Guard), J. Vipond (Raiders), L. Morales (Drill Team) , and E. Huntley (Rifle Team).

Color Guard

The Color Guard is commanded by C/COL Edelmary Martinez, and second in command is C/CPT Crissy Campbell. The Color Guard presents the Colors at home football games, and special events including academic assemblies and Pass and Review. The Color Guard competes at Drill Meets along with the Drill Team. Accomplishments for the Color Guard this year include fifth place at the Ridgeland Meet. Color Guard has practice Monday through Thursday after school.

Drill Team

The Dril Team is commanded by C/ CPT Morales, and second in command is C/CPT Kayla Margolis. The Drill Team uses 1911 Springfield rifles.The Drill Team practices everyday after school rain or shine, and competes in rigorous Drill competitions around East Tennessee.

Raider Team

The Raider Team is commanded by C/COL Vipond, and second in command is C/LTC Zach Eller. The Female Raider Commander is C/CPT Taylor Leftwich. The raider team competes in endurance and physical competitions such as rope bridge, burn outs, two mile runs, and many more physically challenging tasks. They also have practice almost everyday after school reguardless of weather conditions.

Rifle Team

The Rifle Team is commanded by C/MAJ E. Huntley, and second in command is C/MAJ B. Huntley. The rifle team is separated into usually two smaller teams. Team one is the main competing (traveling) team, and consist of the top five cadets on the rifle team. Team two consist of usually fivet to eight cadets. The rifle team cadets shoots air rifles, and uses a 9x12 target sheet that consist of twelve smaller targets total. The Rifle team has practice Monday through Thrusday after school.
